Few yet powerful... Fruit.

Bewildered to the extent of eating peanutbutter on a regular basis. This is how life long luxuries tare down. The lusts and pleasures of the world, are something that even strong believers conform to. The perfect picture of conviction, is not always found in the first brain cell we bring up. For our human flesh gets tired, yet mercy is a strength that urges us on to holiness. Amen? Like Billy Graham in Michael Jordan's body is Peter McCarthy. Such a metaphor! It has a ringing knack. To talk Jesus with such an umph on life. Like pickle juice with gravy is sin. Because its something we all want to try. But its gross, and has a sour result. Plus it makes your insides rot. Great is the reward who press on in the grace of God, and yet remained pure through the course of life. Hello easter bunny anybody. Like ring a bell. Cause humanism should make you puke. like how in Proverbs it says food eaten in secret is sweet for a moment, but in the end it is like dirt in your mouth. So we should find ourselves completely abondoning it all for the sake of the call. We should run the other way with full strength. And not tempt ourselves. Find the fruit. For it is the opposite of sin. Good fruit is far from sin. To bare fruit, you must yield. Ok, so keep that in mind oh Men of God.

edit :: obviously, petey-boy wrote that :)

"A home without books is a body without soul."
Marcus Tullius Cicero

Today I went to the Birchbark Bookstore with Mom, Ana, Jack, Peter, Kelly, and Liv(above). Most people would see a trip to the bookstore as a chance to read a good book or finally find that novel you were looking for, but I saw it as a chance to take some great pictures. I love that cafe'ish atmosphere at Birchbark, so as soon as we pulled in i grabbed kelly's camera (thank you kel) and went to work :)

Sunday, May 07, 2006

woah, that was a very full weekend!

friday: cfa, mr. jim and mr. tim brown here

saturday: biked the marathon with dad, "chilled" with the daniels

sunday: church, "chill" at home, petey-boy's sweet sixteen party

(oh, louissa, the first shall be last and the last shall be first.
so we'll dominate taboo and the "slap-clap" game in heaven!)

i was too lazy to put shoes on
and too lazy to take my socks off.
it's that "blending seasons" that
ben talked about today :)

ooz "down"

Wednesday, May 03, 2006

i hate that I have to work so hard to write a post. My mom can sit down and write four posts in like a minute, but it takes me an hour and lot of wear on my backspace button to write something halfway acceptable. But ill live.

the other day while driving through watertown minding our own business.we spotted a sign saying something to the tune of what is to your left. an upside-down zoo sign (the top nail had come loose). of course, when it was most needed, a camera could not be found. i kinda "photoshopped" this one. but you get the general idea :)

y'all should come to prayer tonight. it'll be "awesome" 7:00. CFC. be there.

prayer is one thing that you can never get tired of.
