Well, Friday my grandma Jean moved into our "spec" house. When we started the project about two years ago, we had absolutely no idea who would end up buying the house. But we saw it as a good investment so we went for it and bought the property by the river and all the materials for the house. We (dad, me, mom, ana) worked on and off for about a year, until we finally finished it, But even with the hand painted "for sale" sign, we didn't get any serious bites. sooo... (i love that word) Since it cost so much to have an extra house that we weren't even using, we decided to rent it out. Within a week, we had a single mom and her two kids in there. It wasn't to fun seeing our brand spankin' new house being rented by ahem... we'll say untidy people. After a couple weeks of renting it and still no buyers, we got a call one night that there was water under all the floors...... not a good thing. After seeing that all the brand new laminate floors on the first floor were ruined, we saw were the water came from... see here. We replaced the floors with better wood flooring and soon learned that my grandma received an inheritance and wanted to buy our house.
And so she now lives in the "North Country".

Summer begins

Today was the first official day of summer, yay! It was also the day i finished my math, mowed the yard, and redesigned my site. The last of which i would like a few opinions.
Sorry for the long "blog nap"; I guess I just was preoccupied.
Last sunday, I was asked if I would like to join the team on the Spain trip, because someone else decided not to go. I talked with my parents and decided that it would work, and if it wasn't God's will then he would close the door. Later in the week, right after we decided to go ahead and switch the ticket, the price went up. like alot... So, I thought that maybe it was Him closing the door. To confirm that, yesterday, my dad said that they just found out that they wouldn't even be able to switch the tickets, in the first place! So I am trusting God that He's gonna work everything out :)

I'm now back into the semi-normal groove of things, considering i haven't really done much school in two weeks. I'm almost done though, yes! Thank you for all the "hey wasn't yesterday your birthday...yeah...oh, happy belated bithday, then"'s. On my b-day, my dad and i went here to tear down a deck so we can build a new one next weekish. Even though it was raining most of the morning, God held off the real downpour until right after we finished. After that, we took hot showers here and drove here and went here, here, here, here, and here. Then, we met mom, ana, renee, grandma, djibo, and pety-boy here (an 11 year tradition). We had a great dinner which is what dinner's always are when you're with friends and family. After we ate till we were full to overflowing we made our way home, listening to the cd pete got me.
overall, it was the best 15th birthday i have had and will ever have ;)
