Dad arrived home tonight from his 2160.4 mile drive from Dallas,to bring home the new Suburban... It's the unoffical Jack Bower edition :)
This whole process kinda made me think of our lives. How it may seem that inside, we have all these different ingredients scattered around. They have no paticular use by themselves, but if we allow God to come into our kitchen, He will mold and prepare us the way he wants us. And even thought we usually don't want to be boiled nobody wants to eat a raw dumpling.
So the moral of the story is... cook you food before you eat it! not really
huh... now i'm hungry again.

My camera came home today. yay
So within the hour, I went on a walk and put it to good use.
Just in case you were wondering, the 1/2 marathon went great. Everyone did well and had a great time. Although now I have a challenge to a full marathon from Mr. Story.
Need to get ready for that one :)
School starts up again tomorrow. So far I have enjoyed our work this year. I especially like researching the history of our house, and I'm sure another trip to the courthouse for a little more digging is in order for this week.
Super Walmart: the largest warehouse of cheap things in the world.
I still bought three things there....I just couldn't resist the A&W t-shirt :)
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
Till we found the sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine
We all live in our yellow submarine,
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine

Suddenly the CFA 1 mile doesn't sound that bad :)
Speaking of CFA... It starts tommorow, and I'm looking forward to a great year.
It should be fun doing a musical this year.
It's so hard to blog without pictures, but my poor camera is still in for repair :(
Well, it's almost time to start school so I must go.
Romans 8:37-39 (NKJV)
"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
