Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

Sunday, December 24, 2006

Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm really tired right now, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive.
I've just been really busy. I'll write something potentially worth reading tomorrow.

ben, out.

Coal for Christmas

Monday, December 11, 2006

Well, tonight was an interesting evening at the Hull's.

We were just minding our own business when......
Glen Webster dropped in to ask my dad a question. As he was chatting in the driveway on his way out, he noticed that the chimney was shooting out a spew of sparks and flames. After spraying it with a hose, we thought quenched the fire. Then we noticed the glowing coming from inside the chimney clean-out. 5 fire extinguishers and a lot of water later we had cooled the whole chimney down and removed the hot ashes.
The scary thing is that if we didn't notice it, it would have caused a very big problem (including ripping out walls and the chimney).
That just proves that God's watching out for us all the time.

A vid of us putting up the tree...

Merry

Sunday, December 10, 2006

Christmas is (almost) here.

The smell of cookies and pudding fills every corner of the house. (I had to smell the pudding to remind my nose of the scent. Maybe I swiped a fingerfull to remind my mouth of the taste in the process :)

Feliz Navidad is playing over the XM

No Christmas tree at the hulls yet. Maybe for Mom's birthday, which btw is Tuesday not Sunday.

A Christmas dessert at the Sinclair household is store for tonight.

I think I like candles more than incandescent lighting.... Yes, candles definitely encourage the Christmas spirit.
